​​​​​​​HPG: Turkish occupation start a new attacks with the support of KDP

Media Center of HPG published today; A written statement regarding the Turkish army's attacks on Gire -Jahro area, the statement reads:

"On April 22, nine military helicopters and Skorsky helicopters belonging to Turkish army came from Amedeya-Deir A'allouk line, which is under the control of Kurdistan Democratic Party, and bombed Gire Jahro area. After that, Turkish army tried to land its forces in the area with Skorsky helicopters, however our forces targeted the helicopters.

Turkish occupation army sent 10 more helicopters in the middle of the night and intensified the bombing of the area, our forces also targeted these helicopters. Our forces also targeted a helicopter that tried to land at Seri base in Sheladze, in order to retrieve the dead and wounded soldiers during its take-off.

Turkish army helicopters also came to the area, passing over the areas under the control of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) again, and launched an attack on Gire-Jahro area. In these attacks, Turkish army used helicopters and other Skorsky helicopters; American CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

Launching these expanded attacks on Gire-Jahro area and Zap area means a new phase of the occupation attacks. And the resistance of our Guerilla continues, and the clashes in these areas are violent.
