Politicians: the isolation imposed on leader Ocalan is an insistence on the tyrannical approach

Arab and Kurdish politicians talked about the necessity of achieving physical freedom for leader Abdullah Ocalan, pointing out that continuing isolation against him means insisting on imposing dictatorship and tyranny on the peoples of Middle East.

No information has been received about leader Abdullah Ocalan, since March 25, 2021, when a phone call was made between him and his brother, Muhammad Ocalan, for about 5 minutes, then the call was cut off.

According to Al-Aser Human Rights Office, 273 requests submitted to meet with leader Abdullah Ocalan in 2021 were rejected.

Turkish authorities rejected 71 requests submitted by leader's family and 202 requests submitted by leaders' lawyers.

5 meetings took place with leader Abdullah Ocalan during the last 11 years, and last meeting with lawyers was in August of 2019, and the last meeting with the family was in March 2020, according to Al-Aser Human Rights Office.

Kurdish politician Abd al-Hamid Shekhmous says, "Turkey is trying to obstruct all solutions to the outstanding Middle East issues, and aggravate them in various ways, so it impose strict isolation on leader Ocalan, who carries many ideas, theses and solutions to the lived crises."

And he continued, "It seeks to rule the region with tyranny and dictatorship, stifling the peoples of the region, and continuing its colonial orientation and its approach as an Ottoman state, therefore Turkish occupation state tightens isolation on him, and prevents his family from meeting him, as well as his lawyers."

In turn, the Deputy Secretary-General of Democratic Conservative Party, Akram Mahshoush, confirms that the ideas and philosophy of leader Ocalan benefited the region at all levels, pointing to its importance in solving Middle East issues.

He said, "leader Ocalan was able, through his ideology, to bring all the components together, and these crises can only be resolved by the physical freedom of leader Ocalan from Imrali prison."

Abd al-Hamid Shekhmous and Akram Mahshoush called on the people of the region to escalate the struggle for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan "because he dedicated his life in prison for the freedom of region's peoples."
