PYD calls on Kurdistan people to resist Turkey's genocidal attacks

PYD's General Council issued a statement about the Turkish attacks, which stated: “ In addition to its attacks on the villages of Tal Tamr and Zarghan in NE, Syria, the Turkish occupation army, known for its arrogance and hatred against the Kurds, carried out intensive attacks on the legitimate defense areas.

This dawn today in Girê Rush, Zap, Avashin and Matina, using heavy artillery, T129B helicopters, drones, and F-4 and F-14 fighters, in clear violation of all human and moral values, taking advantage of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The statement indicated that these attacks came after Masrour Barzani's visit to Turkey and his meeting with Erdogan.

The statement added that Turkish occupation plan in these attacks depends on deploying its forces in the area via helicopters in an attempt to dismember Kurdistan.

The Democratic Union Party affirmed that Turkey, in cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, aims to create strife among the Kurds and on the other hand, it is trying to export its internal crises outside the borders.

The statement concluded by saying: we call on the people of Kurdistan, all the national, revolutionary and democratic forces in the world to take a single stand against this aggression.
