​​​​​​​KCK calls for solidarity with detainees in Turkish prisons

The Joint Presidency of KCK issued a statement on what political prisoners are exposed to in Turkish prisons, reported by Firat News Agency, and it said:

Turkish prisons have turned into places of death

The fascist and murderous Turkish state, government of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement imprison all those who demand democracy and the rights of the Kurdish people, it does not stop at this point, but rather exerts pressure and repression on prisoners as well, as these attacks increased, and these prisons turned into places of torture and death.

These attacks amount to genocide against Kurdish people

The government of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement when they came to power, the concept of denial and erasure deepened in Turkey.

What the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement Party are doing towards the prisoners reveals the hostile stance of the Turkish state towards the Kurdish people.

Prison administrators have become networks of killers and mercenaries

The General Directorate of Prisons has become a network of mercenaries and killers who implement the policies of erasing their only concern is to keep prisoners away from their cause, and liquidate anyone who opposes it.

This concept is the product of hostility to the Kurdish people by the Turkish state, AKP and the national movement

Founders of the July 14th Resistance Line

Turkish state believes that through pressure and attacks, prisoners will be subjugated, and this is a very big mistake, the prisoners will never surrender to the Turkish state, the AKP government.

The 9/12 fascism also realized that through torture and massacres that will not be able to break the will of Prisoners, or undermining their cause.

Do not leave the families of the prisoners alone

The people should not leave the families of the prisoners alone in the face of attacks. Our patriotic people and their friends must strengthen the families’ activities more.

The prisoners fought for the people’s freedom and were arrested for that, their support is a national and humanitarian mission.

We, in the freedom movement, salute the prisoners and their great resistance, and pay our respects to them, their honorable struggle will triumph whereas the Turkish fascist mentality will be defeated.
