SOHR: Israel targets the vicinity of a military site belonging to Iranian groups

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that Israel targeted military sites in southwestern countryside of Damascus, where there is a military site belonging to groups loyal to Iran and "Palestine Liberation Army", while an official agency said that anti-aircraft guns tried to confront the Israeli missiles.

SOHR reported that Israeli missiles targeted military sites in the vicinity of Rakhla town, and near Al-Madajen between the towns of Ambiya and Kafr Quq in the vicinity of Qatana in southwestern Damascus countryside, where there is a military site for groups loyal to Iran and "Palestine Liberation Army".

Smoke were seen rising in the area that was bombed, while anti-aircraft guns tried to confront the Israeli missiles, but no information was received about the size of the losses.

For his part, a military source told an agency affiliated with Damascus government that "the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from north of occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in western Damascus countryside." He added, "Our air defenses confronted the missiles and shot down some of them, and the damage was limited to material."

This comes, less than a week after the bombing of military areas in Hama city.
