 Most of the regions of northern and eastern Syria, Afrin, Aleppo, and Manbij witnessed celebrations on the International Women's Day under the slogan "Together we Protect our Revolution and Liberate our Lands."

 Qamishlo

 This morning, women of Qamishlo's components (Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Armenians) flocked to Haitham Kajo Stadium, east of the city, to celebrate the 8th of March, International Women's Day, wearing their traditional clothes.

 Hundreds of women, members of Kongra Star, Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), Democratic Union Party (PYD), Autonomous Administration, and Protection Units participated in the celebration, which was organized under the slogan “Together we Protect our Revolution and Liberate our Lands.”

 The celebration square was decorated with pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and freedom martyrs against the attacks of ISIS mercenaries and the Turkish occupation army, in addition to the flags of Kongra Star, the Democratic Union Party and the Women's Protection Units.

The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by a carnival show by the Sardam Troupe, and a statement on behalf of the joint events platform for women’s movements and organizations in north and east Syria, read by the administrator in Kongra Star in Qamishlo canton, Ibtisam Al-Hussein, who congratulated the women's movements and organizations in the world on this Day.

 She stressed that the struggle of women all over the world to achieve freedom against authoritarian concepts is a fundamental pillar of the struggles for freedom, justice and equality.

 Then the message of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), congratulated all the women of the world, especially the women of northern and eastern Syria, on this Day, and pledged agains to all women seeking freedom and equality, and all the female martyrs, and women in the occupied territories to continue the struggle until their liberation  of all occupied lands.

 After that, several traditional and revolutionary songs were presented by (the artist Nisreen Botan, the Dalili Music Troupe), in addition to several folkloric dances by the Koçerat band and the Tel Barak band.

 The celebration concluded with the holding of Dabkeh rings by the audience, to the rhythm of revolutionary and popular songs.

 Amuda

 In Amuda sub-district, hundreds of women from the sub-district of all its components, members of Kongra Star, members of civil institutions, gathered in Girê Moza in the south of the district, to celebrate International Women's Day.

 The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then a speech by the administrator of the Future Syria Party, Shelan Ahmed, in which she congratulated all women in the world and leader Abdullah Ocalan on this Day, and said: "Women have a great role in all political fields,  on the basis of which we must continue the struggle to the end.”

 After that, several lyrical segments were presented in three Kurdish languages, Arabic and English, and a play entitled "My Mother" was presented, while the celebration concluded with the holding of dabkeh sessions for all attendees.

 Terbespiye

 In this context, the people of Terbespiye district celebrated today at the Mazqift Dam. The celebration began with a speech by a member of the platform for joint events for women’s movements and organizations in north and east Syria, Bushra Khalil, who blessed the Day on all the fighters who are resisting in order to achieve  Freedom for women.

After that, several traditional  and revolutionary songs were presented by (Jodi Band, Martyr Evin Band from Tel Hamis, Martyr Rewan Band, Martyr Khabat Band), in addition to several folkloric dances.

Çil Agha

 The joint events platform also organized an event in Çil Agha district on the occasion of International Women's Day.

 The celebration began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech by the administrator at Kongra Star in the district, Nozha Seif El-Din, in which she indicated that "women continue on the path of struggle to break the policies that aim to obliterate their identity."

 Nozha called for an escalation of the struggle to build a democratic society in which the values ​​of justice and equality prevail.

 The event concluded with the Tel Koçber troupe performing several folkloric dances.

 Remilan

 This morning, the celebration of March 8, International Women's Day, began in Rmelan Stadium, with the participation of hundreds of people from the two districts of Girke Legê and Tal  Koçer in Qamishlo canton.

 In the areas of Girkê Legê and Tel  Koçber in Qamishlo canton, the celebration was central in  Rimilan Stadium, and after standing a minute of silence, the administrator at the KSC, Samira Youssef welcomed the guests and congratulated all the women of the world on this occasion, then the assessments of leader Ocalan were listened to about the role of women in society and the necessity of  organize its ranks to create a democratic society.

 This was followed by a speech by Fatima Ali, the administrator of the Martyrs' Families Council in the district of Tel  Koçber, who referred to the sacrifices of women within the revolution of North and East Syria.

 The administrator of the Political Bureau of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Accord Party, Janda Youssef Khalaf, said: "The woman was able, through her active social identity, to make herself an extension of the culture of the mother goddess since the dawn of history."  She made great strides for her freedom."

 Then the artistic teams of the Mohamed Sheikho Center in Qamishlo canton presented a group of songs.

 Al-Hasakah

 Since this morning, thousands of al-Hasakah canton people, led by women who wore folkloric costumes, flocked to the squares and points designated to celebrate International Women's Day in both "Al-Hasakah, Tal Tamr, Al-Darbasiyah", which came separate from each other, under the slogan "Together we protect our revolution, and we liberate our lands.”

 To celebrate International Women’s Day, which falls on the 8th of March, the people of the city of Hasaka and the women went to the celebration square in the western dam, and the people of Tal Tamr district went to the celebration square in the square of the Martyrs’ Families Foundation in the sub-district, while in Darbasiyah, the people of the district went to the cultural center in the district.

The squares and points of celebration were decorated with the colors of spring and the flags of Kongra Star, the YPJ, the People's Protection Units (YPG), and pictures of female militants in northern and eastern Syria.

 Officials in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Internal Security Forces, the Women's Protection Units, and women in institutions participated in the celebrations organized by the joint events platform for women's movements and organizations in north and east Syria, along with the people of "Al-Hasakah city, Al-Darbasiyah district, and Tal Tamr".

 The festivities began with a minute of silence, and a joint statement was read for the joint events platform for women's movements and organizations in northern and eastern Syria, by the coordinating member of Kongra Star in Al-Hasakah, Leilaf Hassan, and the member of the Kongra Star in Ad-Darbasiyah, Dareen Issa, and the member of the conference, Madeleine Obaid.

 The celebrations also included the readers of a statement of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) in the city of Hasaka, which was read by the commander of the units, Colfdan Qamishlo.

 In Tal Tamr, the leader of the Tal Tamr Military Council, Zilan Tal Tamr, spoke, "As everyone knows that since the beginning of the Rojava revolution, women have participated in this revolution, and made sacrifices, all with the thought and wisdom of the leader, and day by day she was able to escalate the struggle."

 She added, "Just as she was on all fronts of fighting and to organize herself for the strongest, as women participated in this revolution at all levels and resisted in order to light this darkness and to this day they still continue to make sacrifices for that."

 At the end of her speech, she confirmed that they, as the Women's Protection Units in the Tel Tamer Military Council, will do everything in their power to protect the gains achieved in the revolution of north and east Syria.

 The three celebrations in al-Hasakah province "Al-Hasakah, Tal Tamr, and Al-Darbasiyah" ended with the presentation of Arab, Kurdish, Syriac and Armenian artistic groups for "lying, dancing, and theatrical" performances, and the revelers held folklore dabke sessions.

 Kobani

 Hours after the celebration, hundreds of women concluded their celebration of International Women's Day in the city of Kobani, in a celebration that witnessed several speeches and a variety of artistic performances.

 The celebration was held in the Kobani forest under the slogan "Together we protect our revolution and protect our land."

 A member of the Coordinator of Kongra Star in the Euphrates region, Rosa Kobani said that "the woman has proven themselves against the domineering male mentality and thousands of women sacrificed their lives.

And she continued, "In order to guarantee her right and freedom, women struggled worldwide, for this reason the leader Abdullah Ocalan focused his thought and philosophy on her and demanded her rights.

 In turn, the leader of the Women's Protection Units in the Kobani Military Council, Dilara Kobani, gave a speech in which she praised the rank that women have reached in the current era and said that "women today are armed with the thought of leader Ocalan and have crossed the barrier of slavery, and what we see in the regions of north and east Syria is the best proof of that, where she women leads the society are towards safety.

 The ceremony included artistic performances by the teams of the Golden Crescent Movement in Sarin district, which presented an artistic painting through a play expressing the will of women, the mothers troupe of the Baqi Khado Center for Culture and Art, which presented an old heritage song, the “Estra Zerin” group coming from the al-Jazera, and the children’s troupe who presented  Kurdish revolutionary songs.

 After that, a number of women administrators in institutions in the Euphrates region were honored by Kongra Star, after which the audience held Dabke sessions and the ceremony concluded with the presentation of a heritage song by the artist Jihan Halling.

 Manbij

 The celebrations of the city of Manbij, which were organized in the village of Touq Al-Khalil, southwest of the city, in which thousands of women participated from the city of Manbij, Al-Tabqa, Al-Raqqa and Kobani, were concluded with the presentation of lyrical and theatrical performances and folk dances by the Culture and Art Committee in Manbij.  Aren for the Kurdish Dabkeh A segment of the Kurdish folk dance, and the artist Zainab Ishaq sang a song in the Circassian.

 While the poet Mazloum Kobani recited a poetic poem in the Kurdish language, and the Manbij Theater Troupe presented a theatrical performance under the title "The Cry of the Journey", in which she talks about women. The artist, Menna Allah from the city of Raqqa, presented traditional and popular songs.  The city of Raqqa is a folk dance, after which the artist Avin Bilal from Afrin presented Kurdish songs, and the preparatory committee honored the participating teams.

 Aleppo

 In the same context, the celebration of the city of Aleppo, which was organized by Kongra Star, was concluded in the Shaqif area in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, with artistic groups performing lyrical and folk dance performances, in addition to theatrical performances.  In the city of Aleppo, the Martyr Nojian Dance Troupe for the Young Women’s Movement, in addition to the participation of the Heritage Ensemble (kevna shopi) in al-Shahba canton with a number of lyrical pieces.

 While the coordinator of Kongra Star in Aleppo, Valentina Abdo, stressed during a speech that "the liberation of the occupied lands is a duty of all women in Syria," noting that "women in the city of Aleppo and in Syria in general are indebted to the thought of the international leader Abdullah Ocalan, who granted women a leadership and pioneering position in tbe July 19 revolution to prove itself at all levels.

 Valentina Abdo added that "International Women's Day came as a result of the struggle and resistance of millions of workers women and women's movements and organizations around the world."

 Al Shahba

 Al-Shahba celebration concluded today by presenting the teams of the Golden Crescent Movement of Afrin canton with artistic and cultural performances, and the attendance of the Dabkeh rings was held.

 Today's celebration was organized in the village of Allousha, which is affiliated to the Al-Ahadath district in Al-Shahba canton, in the presence of thousands of people from Afrin canton, under the slogan "Together we protect our revolution and liberate our lands."

 After standing for a minute of silence and giving speeches and listening to the voice of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Golden Crescent movement teams began to present artistic and cultural performances.

 The Martyr Burjam band started the performances by presenting some revolutionary and popular songs.  This was followed by the presentation of the Martyr  Mizgin band to sing some revolutionary songs.

 After that, Ciyaye Kurmênc Folk Dance Troupe, which consists of mostly elderly people, went up on stage to present some segments of the folkloric dance of Afrin canton.

 The performances continued, with the band of the martyr Nujan Zardos to sing some revolutionary songs.

 Then, the Martyr Vian Soran Folk Dance Troupe for young women presented local and Kurdish folk dance performances.

 Then, a member of the Golden Crescent Movement of Afrin Canton, Fatima Bilal, presented some popular Arabic and Kurdish songs.

 The martyr Haifa and the martyr Berivan bands also presented some revolutionary songs.

 In the end, the two members of the Golden Crescent Movement of Afrin canton, Mufida Hamdi and Zilan Khalil, presented some of the revolutionary and popular songs, and the people held their Dabke episodes.

 Dêrik

 Thousands of women from Dirk, Koçerat and Barav gathered at the Shaheed  Bawer Center to celebrate International Women's Day.

 The ceremony began with a minute of silence, followed by the statement of the platform of the joint activities of women’s movements and organizations in north and east Syria, which was read by the administrator in the educational complex in Derik Bahar Muhammad, then the message of the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units was read by the administrator in the school of Nowruz camp Nasreen Abdullah  .

 After completing the reading of the letter and the statement, the Yasmine Afrin band, the Tire Khawain band, the Music band (Fatria) affiliated with the Young Women's Movement, the Martyr Nalin Dance Band, and the Martyr  Gerilla Band for the Young Women's Movement in Dêrik presented many songs and folkloric dances.

 The celebration ended with women holding dabke circles to celebrate International Women's Day, to the tunes of Kurdish music and songs.
