The start of the third annual meeting of AANES' Executive Council

A while ago, the activities of the third annual meeting of Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria began in Raqqa, in the presence of the seven Autonomous Administrations, and is scheduled to last for two consecutive days.

The meeting began with a minute of silence, followed by a welcoming speech by co-chair of Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abd Hamid al-Mahbash. After that the deputy co-chair of Executive Council Hamdan al-Abd read the political report, which at the beginning praised the resistance of Syria Democratic Forces in confronting the attacks of ISIS mercenaries on Al-Sina'a prison in Hasaka.

The report touched on the accelerating developments in Middle East, and said, "We are in the process of a third world war. The specificity of third world war is not only military, but also political and economic." He also referred to the role of Damascus government and its hostility to Autonomous Administration project, the role of Turkey in supporting terrorism, and committing war crimes against humanity in the region.

The meeting is scheduled to address several axes, the most important of which are discussing the political situation, organizational and administrative situation and the difficulties that Executive Council faced. And at the end of the conference, they will present proposals, general goals and work plan for the current year.
