​​​​​​​On anniversary of occupation of Afrin: Syria will not enjoy stability under Turkish occupation: AANES

 This came through a statement issued by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the attacks of the Turkish occupation on occupied Afrin, and said in the statement:

 The twentieth of January coincides with the fourth anniversary of the Turkish attack on Afrin, four years of the most horrific violations and practices that are not related to any moral or emotional standards.  After their barbaric attack, after Afrin was a safe haven for more than 180,000 people who went to it from outside Afrin to escape the scourge of the Syrian war.

 Today, after four years of mercenary practices in these occupied areas, which clearly express Turkey's despicable intentions to strike the stability of our regions, undermine the democratic experience of our people, and obstruct the path of the Syrian consensus, in addition to its deep project aimed at perpetuating and dividing the Turkish occupation in Syria, as well as  Today, there are practices that confirm the reality of division and occupation, so this aggression and occupation is wrong for some to consider it regionally with limited influence, because it is a comprehensive aggression on the whole of Syrian geography.  It requires the unification of capabilities in order to liberate it.

 The Turkish occupation state is continuing to destroy Syria and divide its society;  As what Turkey and its mercenaries are doing today in our occupied areas confirms once again, especially through the silence of international forces, United Nations institutions, the international coalition, Russia and the Syrian government, that Turkey is continuing its policies that are not in line with the Syrian interest, and Turkey does not address the argument of its national security and support for stability in Syria. Some forces that call themselves the Syrian opposition, except to cover up their hostile practices and sabotage intentions in Syria, which requires all Syrian national forces and the international community to be wary of this dangerous scheme against the Syrian people, as well as their project to support terrorism and re-pump the blood of the dead ISIS body, by embracing it  Today, thousands of ISIS militants who fled Syria were received by Turkey and organized under the name of the so-called National Army.

 On the fourth anniversary of the Turkish attack on Afrin, we confirm in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria that the Turkish presence and its occupation of our regions and all other Syrian regions, and its support for terrorists and its embrace of the forces called the Syrian opposition, is nothing but a poisoned dagger in the Syrian body, without resolving the file of Turkey’s occupation of Syria and its practices  And with it mercenaries, there will never be stability in Syria.

 Therefore, we note to the whole world and to global public opinion, that Turkey, through the policies of demographic change and the forced displacement of our people from their regions, is establishing a new Turkification project aimed at striking the stability of Syria and the region and fragmenting it socially and geographically.

 We appeal to the international community with all its institutions, the United Nations, the European Union, the Global Coalition, the Russian Federation and the Syrian government as well, to realize the dangers of Turkish policy in Syria and to stay away from any special interests and agendas with Turkey, at the expense of our country, Syria, its people and its various affiliations.

 In conclusion, we affirm in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to stand by the displaced from their homes until the liberation of the entire occupied lands, and we assure our people in north and east Syria, especially our people in Serêkaniyê, Gérê Spî and Afrin who were forcibly displaced from their homes, that we promise you to continue the struggle  With you and with you, until the liberation of your areas and your return to them with dignity and pride, and on this occasion we also remember our martyrs and wounded heroes who heroically defended against the Turkish army and its mercenaries, with their absolute belief in freedom and preventing harm to the values ​​and gains of our people, and we pledge them to follow their path and footsteps until victory is achieved and the goals and aspirations of our people are achieved and the success of their revolution  democracy.
