Detainees families: they are left to surmount to martyrdom

Mahmoud Selim was detained by Turkish state on the charge of political activities and was sentenced to life imprisonment and forbidden to see his family. Mahmoud still resists torture inflicted upon him in Turkish jails since 27 years.

Mahmoud used to be transferred from jail to another time and again, lately he was given acess to family via phone. 

Mother of Mahmoud Sadiqa Mahmoud Resho, denounced the practises adopted by the Turkish state against all political detainees saying ' they deprive us of our right to meet our sons detained, is this not a crime to forbid a mother to see her beloved ones''.

Sadiqa noted to the hardships inflicted upon her when her son was held at the Amed prison after being detained first by the Turkish state ''   I was tortured and beaten, they took all my money and passport and they did not allow me to see my son but after this repression''.

''I was harassed and followed up until I was exited from Turkey'', she said calling on the international community and all relevant human and legal associations to respond to calls made by mothers to release their sons, '' we are demanding our legitimate rights to set our sons free''.

Mohamed Ismail was detained by the Turkish authorities in Serhed under political activities charges and was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Erzurum jail, he has spent 29 years in jail and incurred a serious injury at his leg under torture.

His mother Qudret Sheikho Mohamed denounces the practices adopted by Turkish authorities against detainees, '' they are deprived of treatment and leaving them to face death until they surmount to martyrdom''.

Qudret indicates her son is ill and never receives and treatment, '' as many others, my son is being in jail for 29 years, is this not wrongdoing?
