Department of Foreign Relations receives a Sudanese delegation

The delegation was received in Qamishlo city by the Deputy- co chairmanship of the Department of Foreign Relations, Fanar Al-Kait, and a member of the Administrative Board, Sana Daham, according to the official website of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

The Sudanese delegation was headed by the Chargé d'Affairs of the Sudanese Embassy in Damascus, Tariq Abdullah, Imad Al-Din Ahmed, an advisor at the embassy, and Mohammad Siddiq Bashir, the administrative director at the embassy, according to the website.

During the meeting that took place today, the two sides talked about many political and economic issues, in particular the Arab role in resolving the Syrian crisis.

At the outset, the delegation was presented in a general manner in NE, Syria. The Deputy- co chairmanship, Fanar al-Kait, explained that AANES project was aimed at the unity of Syria and its people and did not threaten the security and stability of neighbouring countries. which is a model for a solution to build a new, democratic, decentralized Syria as a common homeland for all Syrians with all their components. With great sacrifices, they have been able to liberate one third of Syria's territory from terrorism. All components have contributed to eliminating terrorism and ensuring stability in the region.

In the context of the Arab role in resolving the Syrian crisis, Fanar al-Kait said: "We hope that there will be efforts by the Arab States to contribute to a genuine solution to the Syrian crisis at the expense of the role played by some regional States, such as Turkey and Iran, which play a negative role and deepen the crisis in Syria."

With regard to the Al-Hol and Roj Camps, al-Kait noted the danger of children and women remaining in those camps, where they are brought up on the ideology of terrorism, which helps ISIS to organize its ranks again, and added: "It is important that the international community assume its humanitarian duties towards its citizens and support the Autonomous Administration to improve the situation of the camps prisons, and the establishment of rehabilitation centers to curb terrorism and bring peace and stability to the region.”

The two sides also discussed the humanitarian situation, the file of refugees and IDPS, and work mechanisms to return them to their areas.
