Omer Ocalan: struggle ought to be increased for Imrali

Peoples Democratic Party, Riha's MP, Omer Ocalan told the Sterk TV that the Turkish state tightens the isolation imposed on all detainee held at the Imrali Island Orison; leader and Umar Khayri Kunar, Hamili Yildrim and Weysi Aktas.

Omer Ocalan stressed that Kurdish people should intensify its struggle to verify what is being taking place in the Imrali Prison saying they do not have any information on the leader's health. Omer indicated that isolation is to deter any ideas developed by leader to reach to the Middle East people dubbing it as a bad policy.

Ocalan represents democracy, Ocalan is above 70 years old and supposed to enjoy all legal rights and isolation poses threats to his life, Omer Ocalan said adding they have no idea on his health.

Omer Ocalan said some European associations are doing a good job , adding the Kurdish people should increase fighting to know what is happening in Imrali.

Yesterday a conference was held by Imrali Islkand detainees- leader and Umar Khayri Kunar, Hamili Yildrim and Weysi Aktas – in the Turkish parliament expressing their concerns on their detainees' health calling on all relevant associations to take action quickly and more light to be shed on the prison.
