​​​​​​​Notables of Arab and Kurdish clans: We support SDF until all occupied lands liberated

Today, in the city of Ad-Darbasiyah, an expanded meeting for the notables of the Kurdish and Arab clans in the Jazira region was held, under the slogan " the notables and clans of the region meeting against the Turkish occupation and the line of treachery", in order to oppose the occupation and the threats launched by the Turkish state on the region.

 A banner in the hall read, "No matter how different our beliefs, nationalities, religious and clan affiliations are, we will always remain souls in one body and brothers in one homeland."

 Nearly 500 notables and sheikhs of Arab and Kurdish tribes from the regions and districts of Ad-Darbasiyah, Zarkan, Amuda and Shadada, in addition to religious figures and representatives of different segments of society attended.

 The meeting began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, and then a word was delivered on behalf of the Military Council of the city of Amuda and Ad-Darbasiyah, by the head of the Relations Office in the Council, Kameran al-Hassan, who welcomed the attendees, and praised the role of all components and spectra of north and east Syria in establishing the Autonomous Administration, and the sacrifices made by its people for the sake of  community protection.

 He added, "The blood of the people of the region, which was mixed over one geography, was for the right to self-determination and challenge the attacks of the Turkish occupation that target the project of the democratic nation."

 Al-Hassan called on all the people of northern and eastern Syria to support the Syrian Democratic Forces against the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the region.

 Kameran al-Hassan stressed that the unity and solidarity of the people of northern and eastern Syria is the guarantee to thwart all the schemes of mercenaries and traitors who are exploited by the Turkish occupation state to expropriate land and honor.

 Al-Hassan pledged that all the previous shortcomings in Afrin, Girê Spî and Serêkniyê will not be repeated and that they in the Syrian Democratic Forces are fully prepared to confront any attack targeting the region, and stressed the liberation of all lands occupied by Turkey.

 At the conclusion of his speech on the anniversary of the founding of the PKK, al-Hassan congratulated the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the families of the martyrs, and all the peoples of the Middle East.

 After that, the discussion was opened to listen to the views and proposals of the Arab and Kurdish clans, which all emphasized the need to liberate all areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries from the National Army, and to support the Syrian Democratic Forces by making more sacrifices, and the need to unite the efforts of the people of the region with all its components to stand in the face of  Turkish threats and attacks and avoidance of internal fighting to preserve the gains achieved by the July 19 Revolution.

 The meeting concluded with the issuance of a statement by the Arab and Kurdish clans, which was read by Hashek Al-Jarba, one of the notables of the Al-Jarba clan.

 The statement stated:

 Recently, political and military pressures have increased on the regions of northern and eastern Syria through the military build-up by the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries on the Syrian-Turkish borders, targeting safe civilians with drones, and bombing villages and farms to intimidate the people, sow discord and strike the state of security and stability that has been established in the Autonomous Administration areas.

 The statement stressed that the practices carried out by the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries aim to thwart the project of democratic self-administration and stir up strife among the components.

 In their statement, the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Arab clans, the Kurdish and Yazidi clans and the components of the region, including Syriac, Assyria, Armenians, Circassians, Kaldan and Jajan, appealed to the international community, humanitarian organizations and the international coalition forces to put an end to these practices and end all forms of occupation.

 Notables and sheikhs of Arab and Kurdish tribes stressed during the statement the following national constants:

 The unity of Syria's land and people.

 Stand by the Syrian Democratic Forces until the liberation of the occupied Syrian lands and the consolidation of security and safety.

 Preserving peaceful coexistence and coexistence among the components of the region and clinging to the land, the homeland and the Syrian national constants.

 Preserving the people’s gains through a decentralized democratic administration through the Syrian-Syrian dialogue that guarantees the rights of all Syrians.
