Series of celebrations in Kobani marking PKK's 43rd anniversary

 The celebration was held in the village of Qarmough, about 15 kilometers east of Kobani city, which is affiliated to the Shiran district in the Kobani canton. Dozens of people and members of institutions in Shiran district and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) participated in the celebration that began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs’ souls.

 Then, the co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families in the Euphrates Region, Aisha Effendi, and the co-chair of the Shiran District Council delivered a speech in which they congratulated the 43rd anniversary of the founding of the PKK on the Kurdish people, stressing that this party revived the Kurdish people and led them towards achieving freedom and victory.  Calling for an escalation of the struggle to achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

 Then the Dabkeh episodes were held by the young men and women to the tunes of Kurdish revolutionary music.

 A celebration in the same context is scheduled to be held tomorrow in Al-Qanayeh district and in the coming days in the following areas: Sarin, Ain Issa and Kobani city.
