Bali: stability of Middle East is linked to Ocalan's freedom

The Turkish occupation state imposes a severe isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan and prevents him from meeting his lawyers and his family, while the Kurdish people continue to struggle against Turkey to liberate him.

In this context, Aref Bali, member of Freedom Committee of Leader Ocalan in the Euphrates Region, says: "after the leader presented his thought and philosophy to the peoples of Middle East and the world during the outbreak of Arab revolutions in 2021, severe isolation is being imposed on him".

Bali added "Because the authoritarian regimes in the world impose their policies on peoples and put them in the service of their interests, they do not find any solutions for these peoples, and they have never struggled to protect the rights of oppressed peoples". Bali pointed out that leader Ocalan is fighting for all oppressed peoples to reach the freedom, democracy and equality.

Bali noted that "the leader didn't allow himself nor his people to live under fascist regimes, the dominant powers united against him with an international conspiracy to arrest him, and after the oppressed peoples uprisings in Middle East against fascist regimes, these regimes imposed isolation on leader Ocalan to prevent his thoughts from reaching the world is a solution to protect itself".

Referring to the Kurdish people's struggle, Bali said, "Despite the strict isolation on the leader, the Kurdish people have been able to communicate with the leader through his lawyer and his family several times since 2015, and now many peoples in Middle East salvation from authoritarian regimes through leader's thought and philosophy".

Bali, stressed that any international organization concerned with the protection of human rights hasn't been able to protect the leader from Turkish violations and lift the strict isolation on him until now.

He mentioned also that many countries in Middle East are facing internal crises and their peoples are oppressed, he says about that, "The cultures and languages of these peoples are erased and forgotten, and religions have become a tool for achieving the  interests of the authorities, and in order to not find any solution, isolation is imposed on the leader".

Regarding of the continuous struggle, he said: "the goal is to live in equality, freedom, justice, democracy and love in their homeland with their Arab, Persians, Syriacs, Turkmen and all components and sects are neighbors and brothers, in addition to that it aims for every people to live in peace, equality and freedom, adhering to their cultures, languages and religions".

Bali continued, "There is an intellectual connection between us and Leader Ocalan. We follow his thought and apply it. We, as Leader's Committee, we struggle within the framework of lifting the isolation of the leader, ensuring his freedom, spreading his thought and philosophy among peoples, and informing the world that the solution to Middle East crisis is in the hands of the leader".

Bali stressed that if the leader Ocalan did not liberate, the Middle East would live in greater crises than the one it is experiencing now, stressing that the leader's thought is the key to these crises.

At the conclusion of his speech, Bali said: "All the peoples of Middle East mustn't trust the authorities of the dominant countries, because they didn't fight for the peoples at all, on the contrary, living in freedom and dignity is within the democratic nation’s project, therefore work must be done to ensure the freedom of the leader".
