Political parties stress need to rally around AANES, SDF in face of challenges

 The meeting of the Autonomous Administration, political parties, entities and organizations in north and east Syria, began this morning, at the Center for Diplomatic Studies and Consultations in the city of Qamishlo, to discuss the latest political developments in north and east Syria, as well as the conditions and service plans of the Autonomous Administration in the al-Jazira region.

 The meeting, which was directed by the deputy co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Badran Çiya Kurd, was attended by representatives of political parties, entities and organizations in north and east Syria, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Talaat Younes and Nazira Gaweria.

 On the most prominent points, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Talaat Younes, explained to our agency that this meeting is among a series of periodic meetings held for political parties in north and east Syria in the presence of the Autonomous Administration.

 At the beginning of his speech, he pointed to the axes that were discussed in the meeting, and said: "We discussed with the political parties the general political situation in the region, and the latest developments on the international and Syrian arena and in northern and eastern Syria in light of the Turkish state's threats to target the region, and its attempts to strike the Autonomous Administration project.  In addition to discussing the latest developments at the administration level through the tours of the delegations of the Syrian Democratic Council and the Autonomous Administration of many international capitals.

 He continued, "We also discussed ways to limit attempts that target the will of the region's components."

 Talaat Younes pointed out the political parties' consensus on "the need to unite at this sensitive stage, to rally around the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces in facing the challenges facing the region, and to develop the administration's work in all diplomatic and administrative aspects."

 The most important points that were discussed, according to Younes, are "the status of the Autonomous Administration and the projects it is working on in light of the economic crisis that Syria is going through in general, in addition to the problems that the regions of north and east Syria suffer from."

 At the conclusion of his speech, Younes said: "The proposals and criticisms of the political parties about the work of the self-management institutions were listened to, in order to correct the work of the administration institutions so that they can meet the requirements of the stage."
