Tal Tamr Council: Turkey targets infrastructure and schools

Joan Mela Ayoub Co-chair of the Tal Tamr Council in an interview with ANHA, says that all areas close to the frontlines and adjacent to Turkish occupation forces and affiliated mercenary groups were under escalation in August and September the last where heavy weapons were used against the region '' all villages on the frontlines from the three sides and the Assyrian villages were targeted causing grave damages to the peoples' properties and schools.

Joan added that infrastructure, schooling institutions are the main target of the Turkish shelling noting that Derdara was targeted intentionally to cause displacement, but the people in Tal Tamr well know the intention of the Turkish occupation army and all the affiliated mercenary groups.

Regarding the so-called guarantor states Joan says'' since the Russian forces were deployed to the Tal Ahmer village they have been targeted more than once but they did not respond, we do not know if there is any kind of coordination between them, for even though Syrian forces are targeted they remain silent'', Joan added. 

On August 19 a mass number of the people of Tal Tamr and Zarghan gathered in front of the Russian Base  to condemn the Russian silence towards the Turkish and mercenary attacks on the two districts meeting Russian Generals. ''our message was clear, to repel and stop attacks for they are a guarantoir part'', Joan commented.

At the end Joan said that the people of Tal Tamr of all backgrounds are taking the side of the Tal Tamr Military.
