In honor of their memory, martyrs of August recalled

The Martyrs' Families Council in Amuda district held a memorial ceremony for 29 martyrs, who were martyred in August in different places and times, at the shrine of the martyr Ismail Hawker.

The families of the martyrs carried pictures and documents of their sons, the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their people.

At the beginning of the memorial ceremony, the attendees observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs of freedom and dignity, followed by a speech by a member of the Martyrs’ Families Council in Amuda district, Zywar Ali, who glorified the martyrs, and confirmed that they are the path of salvation from darkness.

In the personality of the 29 martyrs, he recalled all the martyrs of freedom, and said: "If we want to protect the gains that were achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, we must reconsider all the revolutionary movements that failed to achieve their goal by forming leaders and an administration that does not prefer their personal agenda to the public, except for the Kurdistan Liberation Movement." which was founded on great foundations and principles, in which every individual won his place, and carried the torch of struggle and resistance against all capitalist regimes with individual interests.

He continued, "Only the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, which was built on the basis of the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, has proven its success in combating all the schemes that were hatched against the Kurdish people, and history bears witness to that."

Then, the martyrdom documents of the 29 martyrs were read and handed over to their families.
