HPG uncovers killing of 85 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army in separate operations in a month

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) announced the death toll from the Turkish occupation during the last month of the two revolutionary campaigns of resistance of the Khabur and the Zagros Hawks, in which 85 Turkish soldiers were killed and 19 others were injured, while seven fighters of the Guerilla Forces, were martyred.

During this period, the Guerilla fighters carried out 60 operations against the Turkish enemy, targeting 2 military vehicles and 6 attack helicopters.

The HPG also explained that the Turkish occupation army used poisonous gases against our forces 65 times.

In a statement, the HPG stated the following:

“The operations of the Turkish occupation army, which began on April 23, 2021, against the regions of Zab, Mtina, and Avashin, have entered their 120th day, and the guerrilla fighters of Kurdistan’s freedom have faced these attacks and these occupiers through the two revolutionary campaigns of resistance of the Khabur and the Zagros hawks. Our guerrilla forces who have been resisting relentlessly for 122 days, They added a new page to the history of the peoples' resistance, during which they used the methods of the modern warfare in the resistance, and they showed once again that our honorable struggle will be victorious.

The bourgeois will, which was embodied in the resistance of Gara at the highest level, turned into a tradition in Mam Rasho, and today, it has reached its fourth month in the resistance yards in Warkhaleh and Girê Sor. At the same time, large and successful operations were carried out against the genocidal attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation army in the Northern Kurdistan, where the guerrilla fighters tightened the noose around the occupiers in all arenas, and began campaigns through which they directed the strongest blows to the occupiers.

The Turkish occupation army suffers from a great failure and collapse

The Turkish occupation state's extensive attacks, wants to liquidate the freedom struggle of Kurdistan, which stands as an obstacle to achieving its occupation goals. Guerilla fighters who implement the reality of the Kurds and Kurdistan and the leader Ocalan, are resisting against the genocidal attacks historically. The Turkish occupier has used poisonous gases and chemical weapons many times, against the resistance arenas. Thanks to the modern measures of our fighters, failed to achieve its goals. The continuous resistance and the effective operations of our forces in Avashin, Zab and Metina, Heftanin and Kharkiv caused the Turkish occupation army to collapse.

The historical resistance of our fighters, which lasted for four months, led by our holy martyrs, was reconstituted and became professionalized, which indicates the victory of the spirit of August 15 by the immortal leader Agid, as our liberation struggle brought us one step closer to victory. Within the framework of the revolutionary campaign, the forces of the Free Women’s Units, the YJA-Star has taken its place in the front lines through many successful operations, and it has played its role in the identity of the free woman through the philosophy of the leader Ocalan, and has effectively influenced the revolutionary campaigns.

The historical resistance in the one hundred and twenty-second days to our fighters, in the regions of Zab, Avashin, Metina, Heftanin, and Khwakurk, in the spirit of sacrifice and redemption, showed the whole world that the freedom fighters of Kurdistan are resisting all kinds of attacks on our people and our land and they are the owners of that force that can achieve goals in a free leader and Kurdistan Free, which is the goal of all our people and our holy martyrs.
