Interlocutors: All attempts to create Kurdish infighting must be stopped

The interlocutors in the second axis of the Dialogue Forum demanded to stop all attempts aimed at creating Kurdish fighting, and the need for the Kurdistan Democratic Party to withdraw its forces that headed towards the legitimate defense zones, to work under the 1982 Agreement, not to conclude counter-agreements against the Kurdish forces, and to stay away from incitement and treason.

The Dialogue Forum held under the auspices of the Kurdistan National Congress - Rojava held in Qamishlo city continued its activities by discussing the second axis that included (what is required at the Kurdish level at this stage), and it was received by Member of the Joint Presidency of the Democratic Union Party, PYD, Fawza Yousef and lawyer Fadel Musa.

Lawyer Fadel Musa made it clear that the Turkish war is not only against the Kurdistan Workers Party, PKK, but it is a war against Kurds as a whole because the party fighters made great sacrifices for the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan, in Rojava, Shengal and Southern Kurdistan.

Fadel Musa stressed that the Turkish occupation state is inciting the Kurdistan Democratic Party to create internal fighting, and pointed to similar attempts to thwart the Kurdish-Kurdish talks in Rojava, and stressed that the main goal is to disperse Kurdish visions.

Musa touched on the Kurdish people's position, saying, "The Kurdish people throughout Kurdistan are demanding and striving for the unification of the Kurdish ranks and strategy." He stressed the need to form a committee of all Kurdish forces to discuss in order to support the Kurdish struggle and resistance being shown in the face of the Turkish occupation.

He stressed the need for Kurdish forces to adopt dialogue, and to stay away from incitement and treason that disperse Kurdish society and from regional alliances that are not in the interest of the whole Kurdish people.

In turn, Fawza Yousef said that the Kurdish people had a great opportunity during 2011, and Kurds took advantage of this opportunity, after which the Kurdish forces sought in 2013 to unite the Kurdish ranks, and Kurds took great strides in this field, but these efforts did not succeed as a result of external interventions. Then, a referendum took place in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) in 2017, and the only forces that stood directly against this referendum were the Turkish occupation state. This is evidence of the Turkish hostility against Kurds.

Fawza Yousef indicated that the Kurdish people united their ranks in 2014, and the general Kurdish people supported the Rojava Revolution and the Kobane resistance, and the occupying forces of Kurdistan feared this position, so they tried to distract Kurds. She noted, "If the Kurdish people had shown similar positions during the popular crowd's invasion of Kirkuk city in 2017, and against the Turkish attacks on Afrin in 2018, it would not have been able to occupy those areas."

Fawza Yousef confirmed that Rojava played a major and essential role in the Kurdish unity. She explained, "Now, the colonial powers of Kurdistan are trying to turn back Kurds to what they used to be in the past (slaves) because they prefer the dead Kurdish, the Kurdish with no will, and these attempts appeared clearly after Kurds achieved great victories against ISIS mercenaries, and the whole world praised these victories."

Fawza Yousef confirmed that the Kurdish people seek to prove their existence, culture and language, and they are struggling with their full strength and determination, and said, "Everyone knows that if Kurds unite, no forces will be able to end our existence, and this is what was proven during the battles against ISIS."

Fawza Yousef noted that the colonial powers are now trying to divide Kurds, so they put forward the theory of the good and the not good Kurd, the good and not good party, and I say, "In the eyes of the colonial powers, there are no good Kurds, and putting forward such theories is to divide Kurdistan and ignite the Kurdish forces against each other."

Fawza Yousef indicated that all attempts aimed at creating Kurdish infighting must be stopped, so the Kurdistan Democratic Party must withdraw its forces that went to the legitimate defense zones, which impede the People's Defense Forces that are repelling the Turkish attacks, work according to the 1982 Agreement signed between Leader Ocalan and Idris Barzani, and not to conclude counter agreements against the Kurdish forces.

She stressed the need to stay away from the language of incitement and treason followed by some media outlets that deepen the rift among the Kurdish forces, and the need to resolve differences in the language of dialogue, work to hold a Kurdish national conference, and put pressure on the forces that evade holding it.

Then, the discussion was opened to the attendees to express their opinions and suggestions, and the discussions focused on the need to put pressure on the forces that serve the enemies of the Kurdish people and hold them accountable. Some suggested the necessity to form a court or committee in order to hold accountable and expose the forces that evade and obstruct the Kurdish unity.

The discussions stressed the need for the Kurdish forces to get rid of the hegemony of the occupying countries, and the narrow partisan interests. The discussions called for the necessity of taking a firm stance towards the Kurdistan Democratic Party to stop its cooperation with the Turkish occupation state.
