From building mosques to settlement complexes.. demographic change continues in Afrin

In a series of settlement projects and to spread extremist ideology, the so-called "White Hands" Association of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Turkey works, under the "Noor al-Huda" project, to build mosques in Yazidi villages in Afrin and most of the villages are within the occupied areas in northern Syria.

According to the information we obtained, the "White Hands" Association built a new mosque in the occupied city of Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, with the support and funding of the states of Qatar and Kuwait.

It is reported that the same association, under the name of the "Noor Al-Huda" project, worked to build mosques in the Yazidi villages in occupied Afrin, including in the village of Qatma and Qastal Jindo in the Shara district, in addition to the villages of Qorba and Tel Hamo in the Janders district, and the village of Atmana in Rajo district.

In the context, the Human Rights Organization Afrin - Syria published on its official website the construction of a new settlement village in Sherawa district, which is the fourth of its kind, to settle the families of mercenaries that Turkey had brought from most of the Syrian regions.

The organization confirmed that the settlement project is sponsored by the Qatari Red Crescent, and implemented by the so-called "Sham Charity" Association.

According to the organization, the residential units, which resemble a village, are located in a forested area on the road between the villages of Gobalah and Khalta in Sherawa district.

The organization indicated that the bulldozers began uprooting trees and leveling the land, in preparation for the construction of the fourth settlement in the mentioned area.

It is reported that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation and the Brotherhood associations began to open the registration for the ownership of apartments on the 10th of this month, with 150-meter houses according to the plan drawn up for the construction.

In the past year, the Turkish occupation state and its affiliated associations built a village called "Al-Shamiya" in reference to the mercenaries of the Levant Front, to settle their families there, on the slopes of Mount Lilon in the Sherawa district, in addition to building a settlement complex in the vicinity of the village of Khalta, in the name of "Kuwait Al-Rahma" with the support and funding of the before the State of Kuwait.

In addition to building a settlement complex in the Yazidi village of Shadireh in Sherawa district, with the support and funding of the people of Palestine 48, and the implementation of the White Hands Association and Living in Dignity.

Despite denouncing the systematic demographic change operations in the occupied canton of Afrin, and appealing to international and human rights organizations, the Turkish occupation state continues to erase and obliterate the identity of the occupied areas under humanitarian terms, with the support of Gulf and European countries.
