Manbij - Salwa Abdel Rahman

Unidentified persons targeted with a number of missiles the Afrin hospital, on Saturday evening, on the 12th of June, which leading to casualties among civilians.

On this, the co-chair of the Executive Council in Manbij said, "This act has nothing to do with morals, and targeting medical personnel is a criminal act according to international laws and norms."

Commenting on the accusation of the Syrian Democratic Forces of the bombing, Sheikho said that "the Syrian Democratic Forces do not commit such criminal acts. He pointed out that the forces' statement condemning any connection to the bombing was clear.

He added, "It is not from the morals of the Syrian Democratic Forces to target medical personnel, and it is not from the principles of the social contract to target such centers, but the question is: Was the timing of the bombing deliberate from some agendas that seek to strike stability of the region?"

Sheikho believes that "the bombing of the hospital a few days before the G7 summit is not a coincidence, but rather an attempt to sympathize with a decision against the Syrian Democratic Forces from the parties that do not want peace in our regions."

He concluded his speech by saying, "We in the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij link the bombing of the hospital in Afrin with the recent events that occurred in Manbij."
