Sulaimaniye PYD and AANES deliver a statement on Erbil arrests

 The statement reads as follows:

''On June 10th, the AANES representative to Hewler Jihad Hesen and two members of the Relations Office of the Union Democratic Party Mustafa Xaleel and Mustafa Aziz were all arrested by the Hewler Asayish as they were receiving some guests, then they transferred to the General Asayish. After a week nothing is known on their whereabouts that arouses suspicions on their lives.

In this critical phase that we pass through such actions discharge into harassment on the political and diplomatic struggle and weakens the all gains made in the Rojava Revolution and never serves the bids exerted to unite Kurds and national position, rather on the contrast it serves plots hatched by the Kurds' enemies and more notably the Turkish state that unsparingly seeks to extend occupation of Kurdistan territory. 

Based on this, we denounce the crime committed against politicians and we call on Kurdistan Democratic Party to set our representatives free immediately, and we call on KRG, the Kurdistan Parliament and all political parties in Southern Kurdistan not to preserve silence towards this incident on the hope and confidence that they will bear their national responsibilities. ''
