Damascus government forces targeted Al-Bara, Kansafra, Fuleifel, and Maarazaf in the southern countryside of Idlib, which led to the death of one person and the injury of others in Maarazaf after directly targeting a house, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

On a related front, areas in Al-Ankawi village of Sahl Al-Ghab, northwest of Hama were subjected to missile shelling by Damascus government forces, receiving no information about casualties.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory indicated that Ahrar al-Sham mercenaries targeted, with missile shells, areas in Salma city which are under the influence of the Damascus government forces in the northern countryside of Lattakia, and Jurin Camp in the western countryside of Hama as well, amid intense ground bombardment carried out by the mercenaries of "Al-Fateh al-Mubin" operations room on sites of the Damascus government forces in axes within the southern countryside of Idlib and near the Aleppo-Damascus international highway, east of Idlib. Furthermore, no information has been received so far about casualties, while the latter's forces bombarded areas in the vicinity of Kafr Nuran, west of Aleppo, in addition to other areas in Jabal al-Zawiyya, south of Idlib.

A week ago, the so-called "De-escalation" zone witnessed a military build-up and mutual shelling between the two sides, amid talk of the Damascus government forces' intention to launch a military campaign in the area.
