15 June marks the 106 annual anniversary of the Seyfo Massacres against Syriac Assyrian perpetrated by Ottomans. Marking the occasion a statement was released by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria reads:

''Ottoman presence in the region was marked by horrendous massacres against peoples of the region, Dersim, Beirut, Cairo, Karbala, the Armenian and the Seyfo Massacres 1915, all were being perpetrated by the Ottoman State against Syriac Assyrians that 15 June marks it's 106 anniversary.

Today after these centuries Erdogan still tries to bring into life the Ottoman legacy and more strikingly today he puts into action the biggest part in whole Syrian and region, everywhere he tries to revive his ancestor legacy, and Christian predominant areas are targeted to re-enact the Seyfo Massacres in more barbarous ways.

As we recall all Seyfo victims and all Ottoman massacres' victims, then and now, by the Turkish state, we call for the necessity of applying to laws to hold accountable all participants in exterminating peoples and components of the region, the international community that continue to condone these actions contributes to double victims in developed ways.

We assure to all people that the way to preserve identity and presence and resistance in front of exterminating trends more specifically the Turkish ones is complementarity and fighting to keep our shared identity and presence and strengthening chances of hoding those used and developed extermination methods throughout history''.
