June 10th is day of dignity, resistance, and Rojava people must participate in it

Al-Jazira region's people are preparing to launch a major march under the slogan "March of Dignity against Occupation and Treachery" on the 10^th of June in Qamishlo city against the background of the continued Turkish attacks on the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan since the 23^rd of last April, and the incidents that were provoked in Metina, through which the Turkish occupation is seeking to involve the Kurdistan Democratic Forces in the fight against Guerrilla.

June 10^th is the day of dignity

Member of Kongra Star Coordination, Walida Botti, said that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) has taken a spectator stance towards Turkey's continued attacks on the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan, neglecting the Kurds' desire and vision despite the escalation of Kurdish reactions in Başûr Kurdistan condemning the silence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish occupation.

She went on to say: "The Kurdistan Democratic is pursuing a policy of support for the Turkish occupier which continues to target the Guerrilla Forces."

Walida Botti explained, "The Peshmerga Forces are considered Kurdish forces whose task is to protect Kurds and the land of Kurdistan, but the PDK moves and efforts to use the Peshmerga as a weapon in the service of the Turkish enemy by confronting the Guerrilla Forces will provoke Kurdish fighting, affecting the whole of Kurdistan in addition to ending and weakening the Kurdish forces."

The Kurdistan Democratic Party's policy is an obstacle before unity

Walida stressed, "The Peshmerga in Başûr Kurdistan should not succumb to the desire of the Kurdistan Democratic Party against the background of political goals, and it must highlight its position rejecting the Kurdish fighting."

Walida noted that the policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in support of Turkey is considered an obstacle before achieving Kurdish unity that Kurds have long yearned for, a betrayal of the Kurdish cause and its goal, and a blow to the Kurdish gains in Başûr and Rojava Kurdistan.

Walida Botti confirmed, "The March of Dignity was organized following the Kurdish agitation towards the policies supporting the Turkish occupation that is seeking to create Kurdish fighting and exterminate Kurds."

Women must deter any Kurdish fighting

At the end of her speech, Walida called on "The people of Rojava to realize that June 10^th is a day of "dignity", and they must participate in it." She specifically called for Rojava women to participate in the march, saying, "Women have a great role in showing their position during the march so that we can deter any Kurdish fighting, as the consequences of fighting would be meted out to our sons and daughters."

The youth confirms that the march of dignity is part of the Guerrillas' victories  

In turn, Administrator of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, Hoger Ali, explained that Turkey concludes new agreements with the help of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on Kurds, and trains Special Forces under the name "Peshmerga Roj" to use them against the Kurdistan Freedom Movement because the Peshmerga Forces in Başûr Kurdistan do not accept launching an attack on the Guerrilla Forces.

Ali stressed, "The government of Başûr Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party must show a strict stance towards the attacks and policies of the Turkish occupation in Başûr Kurdistan, and support the Guerrilla Forces who rid Kurds of genocide policies."

Concerning the great march which is supposed to set off on June 10^th, Hoger stated, "The Dignity March at this stage confirms the victory of the Guerrilla Forces in the legitimate defense zones once again, and that Kurds no longer accept the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party against Kurds and Kurdistan."

This stage is tantamount to retaliation against the enemy's policies

Hoger Ali called on all the youth and people in Al-Jazira region, in particular the Kurdish youth, to participate in the great march, and said: "This stage is the stage of victory, resistance and revenge against the enemy's policies."

PYD calls on the people to express their views on the attacks

In his turn, Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Qamishlo, Massoud Daoud, made it clear that whoever gives legitimacy to these attacks is a partner in the extermination of the Kurdish people, and he noted that the march of dignity will serve as a response to all the schemes being hatched against the Kurdish people.

Massoud Daoud called on the Kurdish people to clarify their positions on the attacks on Başûr Kurdistan, and said, "Everyone must realize that these practices serve which forces' agendas!"

Daoud called on all the components in Al-Jazira region to participate in the demonstration to respond to the attacks and "to prove to the world that we want to live in peace and security with each other, but Turkey wants to sabotage this peace and security, and this is clear to everyone. Everyone from the age of 7 to the age of 70 is invited to participate in the demonstration. They must be present in the squares in order to demonstrate struggle against all schemes and to thwart them."

Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party in Qamishlo city, Massoud Daoud, appealed to the government of Başûr Kurdistan to review itself and act rationally.
