The statement was read in the Women's Free Square in Kobani, with the participation of dozens of members and officials of the Kurdish National Unity Parties in the Euphrates region.

The National Unity Parties in the Euphrates region organized a gathering in the Women's Square in the city of Kobani, to denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupation army against the legitimate defense zones.

At the beginning of their statement, the parties of national unity condemned the Turkish occupation attacks against Mexmûr camp of displaced persons and legitimate defence areas.

The statement noted that the Turkish State had sought to annihilate the Kurdish people from the Ottoman period to the present day, adding that "the Turkish occupation army continues its brutal attacks against the Kurdistan Mountains with the approval of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Unfortunately, instead of countering the brutality of the Turkish Occupying State and defending the sovereignty of Southern Kurdistan, the PDK participates in its crimes. "

The statement also stated: "On June 5th, 2021, the KDP forces moved in the Metina area with the aim of restricting the Guerilla forces, which resulted in the loss of 5 KDP militants. This event was a well-thought-out scheme by the Turkish army, who targeted their vehicle, and had been prepared in advance to accuse the Guerrilla forces, that this scheme is very dangerous targeting the gains of the Kurdish people in southern Kurdistan, and we must beware of it.”

The National Unity Parties denounced the alliance of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with the Turkish occupier against the Guerrilla forces, and appealed to the Kurdish people, their political forces and civil society, especially the Kurdish people in Southern Kurdistan and their political forces, to fulfill their historical responsibilities, and to confront the plans of the Turkish occupation in Southern Kurdistan.

The parties also called on the South Kurdistan Regional Government to protect the gains of the Kurdish people from the Turkish occupation and to consider the Turkish state an occupied country.
