Arab Women: Attacks on Medya aims to implement Millî Pact in Middle East

Administrators of Arab component in Tabqa and Deir Ezzor cities indicated that Turkey's attacks on the legitimate defense zones (Medya) aimed at restoring the glories of the Ottoman Empire in the region, and implementing the Millî Pact in the Middle East.

Since last April, the Turkish occupation state has launched an intensive attack on the legitimate defense zones, with the aim of breaking the resistant and strugglers' will in those areas."

In this respect, Arab women from Tabqa and Deir Ezzor regions condemned this attack. Spokeswoman for the Women's Body in Tabqa city Walaa al-Naji spoke and said, "The goal of Turkey’s repetition of its attacks is to restore its Ottoman glories, and this is what everyone who holds the democratic nation thought rejects."

Free women's will rejects all forms of tyranny

Concerning women's will, Walaa al-Naji said, "Women's will and free thought reject all forms of capitalism and authoritarian regimes. Therefore, women activists and politicians in our regions have been targeted."

Targeting legitimate defense zones is to target women in the first place

Walaa al-Naji said, "After following the approach of the democratic nation project and the July 19^th Revolution, today women are rejecting all occupations and violations that are practiced in the legitimate defense zones, which target women in the first place."

Walaa al-Naji affirmed, "We will unite to overcome this stage and destroy all colonial projects, and this requires us to make double efforts."

The strugglers' adoption of free thought worried Turks

In turn, Spokeswoman for the Women's Commission in Deir Ezzor, Shahrazad al-Jassem, said, "We visited the areas of Southern Kurdistan, where we visited Mexmûr and Heftanin Camps. We did not see any terrorism claimed by Erdogan. The fighters' adoption of the democratic nation's ideology is what worries Turks."

Shahrazad al-Jassem added, "Erdogan seeks to re-establish the Ottoman Empire and revitalize the system of domination."

We will advocate every living resistance

Shahrazad al-Jassem noted, "With the rise of women, there will be great free ideas, so they should not give up to those policies, and we support every living resistance. Furthermore, all the policies that Turkey is using against women, especially in the legitimate defense zones, will be thwarted."

These attacks came with international consensus

At the end of her speech, Shahrazad al-Jassem made clear, "The recent Turkish attacks on the legitimate defense zones came with an international consensus. It was the international community that gave Turkey the green light to launch attacks on those areas and change the demographics of the areas it occupied. This is Turkey's policy, which is trying by various means to destabilize security in the region by supporting mercenary factions that fight in the name of Islam, but Islam denies them, and they do not represent it.
