Condolences expressed to HPG martyr's family

Hundreds of Kobane canton residents offered condolences to the family of the Martyr Ahmed Bozan, the nom de guerre Brusk Kobane, a fighter in the ranks of the People's Defense Forces (Guerrilla) who was martyred on May 20th while participating in repelling the Turkish occupation attacks on Zap area in Southern Kurdistan.

Today, dozens of residents of Kobane canton and its countryside, the Martyrs' Families Council in the Euphrates region, and representatives of some political parties and civil society institutions went to the birthplace of the martyr Ahmed Bozan, Pireh Kur village in Jalabiya district south of Kobane to console the martyr's family.

A funeral tent was erected in front of the home of the martyr's family, and it was decorated with pictures of the martyr Ahmed Bozan.

After the people arrived at the mourning tent, everyone held for a minute of silence, then the Co-chair of Kobane Canton Council, Mustafa Ito, gave a speech in which he said, "In the martyr Brusk's personality, we commemorate all the martyrs of freedom and offer condolences to their families, and when we remember martyrs we remember the dark history and days for their change they sacrificed their lives."

Mustafa Ito emphasized that "those who grew up in the schools of Leader Ocalan and studied his thought, philosophy, and the democratic nation project are the Martyr Brsuk and his companions."

Then the Commander of Tel Abyad Military Council, Riyad Khalaf, delivered a speech in which he said: "The martyrs gave their most precious possession for the democratic nation project, and our martyrs made a bridge from their bodies for us to cross to freedom."

Riyad Khalaf added, "The aim of the brutal Turkish enemy is to occupy the region."

At the end of his speech, Khalaf said, "We pledge to the martyr and his family that we will follow our martyrs' path til the last drop of blood in our bodies."

Then the Administrator of the Democratic Union Party in Girê Spî, Berivan Ismail spoke and said: "The Turkish occupation state fights the Kurdish people wherever they are, but as the Leader Ocalan and the martyrs of freedom promised, we will protect the parts of Kurdistan and liberate them."

She added, "We take the thought and philosophy of Leader Ocalan as a basis, and the martyrs as an example."

On behalf of the Martyr Brusk family, Kadim Eydan spoke and said: "I bow to the martyrs' families, especially their mothers who gave birth to heroes. When the homeland called them, they met the call."

Kadim Eydan indicated that the homeland is witnessing a fateful stage, and they have no choice but to resist and struggle.

In conclusion, Eydan affirmed that "the Syrian Democratic Forces are heroic forces that are leading a fierce battle against the enemies."
