Kongra Star Coordination continues fight against feminicides

Spokesperson for the Kongra Star Coordination in North and East Syria Ramziye Mohamed stressed that they are going to support the anti -feminist obliteration campaign and that they will reveal facts and breaches that inflict women and more specifically the ones that are perpetrated against women in north eastern Syria.

The Kurdish Women's Relations, REPAK, has launched a campaign for standing up to genocidal policies against women under ''Weaving ourselves for life: Stopping feminicides. “For the lives of our pioneers and precursors. Not one more feminicide

74 feminist associations are taking part in the campaign of which the Kongra Star Coordination and the Women's Council in Syria's Future Party of north eastern Syria in addition to 181 feminists.

On the issue spokesperson for the Kongra Star Coordination in North and East Syria Ramziye Mohamed said that the campaign came after an increase in attacks against women besides rape, murder and violence crimes targeting more specifically politicians and activists. ''capitalist systems and patriarchal that dominate the world target women politicians and activists that fight for attainment of freedom and a hard proof to that is targeting Kurdish politicians that struggle on the way of attaining freedom of both society and women'', she said.

Ramziye noted that the Kongra Star that is still fighting since 2005 is continuing in it's feminist activities in north eastern Syria and Syria at large, was one the very first associations that were targeted, '' many coordinators were targeted such as Zahra Bergel, Habun Mela Khaleel, Mother Emina Weyse nd Mother Eqida, Hevrine Xelef head of the Syria's Future Party, and the both Si'da Hirmas and Hind Xider members to the Autonomus Administration of North and East Syria by the ISIS sleeper cells''. 

On the campaign Ramziye said that they are backing the campaign and are filing documents for the purpose, '' we have got many documents that are prepared to be referred to international courts concerning politicians and activists assassination cases, we are working on a file contain all breaches against women in the occupied areas by Turkey and assassination cases of pioneers and politicians the activity that we are going to work on until occupation terminated'', adding that feminist activities are relentless worldwide for the feminist voice to be heard on the hope that the international community and all human rights associations put an end to the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation forces against women that effects children catastrophically stressing that they are defiant to continue fighting the occupation and feminicides and violence against women''.     

Ramziye called on all feminist associations and societies to join the campaign saying that they issues are not confined to north eastern Syria rather they are worldwide to which all associations and societies ought to be united concluding that the campaign would contribute to increase fighting and resistance.
