Founding meeting of ISIS Victims Platform continues with several proposals

The participants in the meeting suggested some items to add to the platform's basic document and adopt it as a bylaw, such as expanding the participation of all international organizations around the world, that the threat of ISIS threatens the whole world, and holding an international court during the coming period to hold ISIS accountable for everything they have committed, and to remove their traces in all its forms from the region.

During the meeting, the head of the Human Rights Defense Initiative Organization, Akid Ibrahim, confirmed the establishment of a platform for the victims of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, that they are also considered an extension of ISIS mercenaries and have committed terrible crimes against the peoples of the region.

For his part, Director of the Struggle for Humanity Organization, Muhammad Al-Jee, stated that there will be a strong relationship between the platform and the official judicial authorities in the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria and the international bodies that will be involved in the trial of ISIS mercenaries, stressing that the Autonomous Administration must support the platform, "The relationship between Autonomous Administration and the platform must be strong."

The meeting was closed to the media, after which a final statement was made at the end of the meeting.

The founding meeting organized by the Human Rights Defense Initiative sponsored by a German organization called Medico International and Fight for Humanity aims to establish a platform for ISIS victims in North and East Syria, represent their voices, and hold mercenaries accountable for the heinous crimes they committed against them in addition to empowering victims (survivors of ISIS mercenaries) to play a pioneer role in shape meaningful transitional justice around their rights to effective and real remedies and just reparation.
