French delegation visits North and East Syria regions

This morning, a French delegation consisting of the head of the Daniel Mitterand Religious Dndowment Jeremy Chaumatier, the head of the Middle East affairs in the Paris Marot city council, and the head of (URD) ​​Veronica de Crove, Philippe de Calimard and Corinne Bosser two administrators arrived at the endowment of Daniel Mitterand to the headquarters of the Foreign Relations Department in the city of Qamishlo.

The delegation was received by the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department, Abdul Karim Omar, his deputies, Fanar Al-Kaait, Abeer Elia, the official of the co-chairmanship Office, Nafia Muhammad, and Berivan Omar, the vice presidency of the Local Administrations and Environment Authority.

The two sides touched upon many issues, foremost of which is the Syrian crisis and the participation of the Autonomous Administration in the political process and the implementation of Resolution 2254, in addition to the repercussions of the closure of the Tel Koçer crossing on the North and East regions of Syria, stressing the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and remove the children of ISIS families from the camps and return them to their countries and rehabilitating them because their continued presence in the terrorist atmosphere poses a threat to society.

In addition to introducing the Autonomous Administration system and its model, and discussing many issues, most notably the political process, the economic situation, and the need for coordination between the Autonomous Administration and the international community to bring peace and stability to the region.
