With the continuation of the violations and anti-human crimes that the Turkish occupation state pursues against peoples of northern and eastern Syria, popular and social protests continue to reject Turkish crimes and demand the neutralization of the Alouk station.

Since its occupation of the city of Serekaniye and its control of the Alouk drinking water station, the Turkish occupation state has used the station as a weapon against the residents of the region, in front of the eyes of the active and guarantor forces and organizations that claim humanity, without the latter being concerned with the suffering and tragedy of the people.

In this context, our correspondent held interviews with a number of journalists on this issue.

Samer Yassin, correspondent of ROJAVA TV, referred to the suffering of the residents in the areas of Hasaka, Tal Tamr and its countryside due to the interruption of drinking water from the Alouk station.

'Occupation's provocations continue, as the amount pumped is not enough.'

Yassin added, "Targeting life basic needs by the Turkish occupation state is a war crime, according to international laws, as all states must neutralize this from repercussions of wars, but the occupation continues its criminal practices against the peoples of the region in order to revive them."

Yassin pointed out in his speech that the Turkish occupation pumps water from the Alouk station sometimes, under international pressure, but it operates a few of those wells, to continue provoking the peoples of the region.

'The collusion of the guarantor forces with the Turkish occupation and silence about the crimes'

Yassin continued, saying, "The Russian guarantors of the ceasefire, did not fulfill their responsibilities. They should have removed the Alouk station from under the control of the occupation forces and its mercenaries."

He added, "The active forces in the region can force the Turkish occupation, which violates all agreements, to neutralize the Alouk station from the political and military reality, but its silence proves that it is negligent and colluding with the occupation state."

Demands to hand over Alouk station to peacekeepers

At the end of his speech, Yassin called for "neutralizing the Alouk station from the political and military reality, and handing it over to peace-keeping forces or international forces."

'Turkey's policy is an extension of the Ottoman approach'

For his part, Ahmed Samaila, Syrian TV correspondent, said, "In the matter of talking about Alouk station, which is the source of life for Tal Tamer, Hasakah and its countryside, everyone knows that since the occupation of the city of Serêkaniyê by the Turkish state and its mercenaries and after achieving its illegal goals, it began targeting the components of life in the region, the most important of which is water wealth. "

Adding, "The Turkish occupation state- since 1923, and through its practices towards the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, affirms that it is an extension of the Ottoman state that committed the most heinous crimes of genocide against various peoples."

Noting, "Today we see that the Turkish occupation state does not only target the population of the region by cutting off water, as it targets camps for the displaced and shelter centers; this is considered a humanitarian disaster."

'We blame those who claim humanity ... and those concerned with conveying the truth, we demand an end to the crimes'

Stressing, "We cannot blame the Turkish occupation state for its crimes as it is an occupying state and its clear policies towards the peoples of the region since ancient times, but our greatest blame today falls on the organizations that claim humanity and have kept silence about the crimes committed before their eyes, asking when these organizations will intervene and save the people from His tragedy? "

At the end of his speech, Samaila said, "We journalists are concerned with conveying the truth to public opinion. We want to convey our voice as the voice of the people to those concerned and the international community by saving the people of the region from the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries."
