Kobani residents go on mass demo in support of Guerrilla resistance in Başûr Kurdistan

The demonstration was organized by the Jalabiyya District Council, with the participation of hundreds of residents of the district and its villages, in addition to workers in the civil institutions of the district.

The demonstration started from the southern entrance to the district towards the village of Kharab Ashak.

During their march, the demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the Turkish occupation and saluting the Guerrilla resistance in the Legitimate Defense Zones.

Upon the arrival of the demonstrators to the public square in the village of Kharab Ashak, the co-chair of the district, Khadija Fares, gave a speech in which she condemned the Turkish attacks on the Legitimate Defense Zones, indicating that the occupier does not stop its attacks on peaceful peoples.

During her speech, she pointed to Turkish occupation’s practices in the Legitimate Defense Zones like bombing and daily attacks, and blocking the waters of the Euphrates River from the regions of North and East Syria with the aim of starving its people, denouncing the international silence regarding these attacks.

She saluted the Guerrilla resistance in the Legitimate Defense Zones, and the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of Turkish ambitions to occupy more Syrian lands.

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that salute the Guerrilla resistance and glorify the martyrs.
