Within the framework of a series of demographic change operations targeting the occupied Afrin canton, internal sources revealed that the mercenaries of the so-called "Al-Waqqas" brigade of the Turkish occupation army had built a project of settlement housing units in the Jebel Qazqali forest in the village of Tatara in the district of Janders.

According to the sources, the settlement units are distributed on "Mount Khorshid 400 housing units - Jabal Hajj Muhammad 350 housing units - Jabal Sabeelah 300 housing units", and it is reported that this chain of mountains extends between the Shia and Jandrees districts.

According to the source, the settlement units include public facilities such as a mosque, a school and wells.

The Directorate of Endowments "Diyanet" in the Turkish city of Hatay completed a project to build a two-story mosque on the 20th of last April, in Hajj Hasanu village in Shih district, on the land of a school in the village.

In another context, in a series to be added to the demographic change processes, the Turkish occupation authorities built a mosque in the Horsh district of the Zaydiyya neighborhood in the center of the occupied city of Afrin, with support and funding from the Austrian-European Social Solidarity Association.

The Turkish occupation authorities, with the support and funding of European and Gulf associations under humanitarian names, continue to establish dozens of settlements to settle the families of mercenaries and Turkmen and Palestinian families who brought them from most of the Syrian regions.

The Turkish occupation state is practicing a policy of demographic change and the genocide of indigenous people, taking advantage of the silence of international human rights and humanitarian organizations.
