The Turkish occupation state is striving to divide Syria, and annex the areas by adopting a political approach that threatens the unity of the Syrian lands. It only indicates the intentions of the division by Ankara.

On this issue, the co-chair of the Legislative Council in Manbij, Muhammad Ali Al-Abo, spoke to ANHA agency, who said that "the Turkish state is trying by various means to occupy more areas of Syria and to apply the Ottoman approach to destroy the region."

He continued, "The Ottoman Empire was the real gateway through its satanic agreements for colonial powers and countries that made the Middle East small states, and spread rivalry in them, and this is what the Turkish occupation state seeks after in Syria."

Al-Abo believes that history repeats itself, stating that "the Turkish state is following in the footsteps of the Ottoman Empire that ended with disastrous consequences for the region in general."

"We do not lose sight of the continuing Turkish violations and threats against our regions, almost daily, along the demarcation lines between the areas it occupies in Syria and the regions of northeast Syria from Ain Issa through to Tal Tamr and Manbij."

The co-chair, Al-Abo, stressed the need to move away from all these contradictions and malicious hands and return to the same table, adding: “Our society is peaceful and needs security before everything, so we Syrians must join hands and get out all these forces and occupations from our lands. "

Al-Abo criticized the position of the Damascus government, which he said, "It must assume its responsibilities towards the sovereignty of all Syrian lands, resist the Turkish occupation."

He said that the government of Damascus stands "idly by," pointing out that "the matter is no different with regard to the position of America and Russia, the two guarantors of peace in the region, and if so to speak in all regions of Syria, and they do not perform their duties as required, rather turn a blind eye on the Turkish side.

At the end of his speech, Al-Abo appealed to the international community and humanitarian and human rights organizations, especially America and Russia, to play a positive and more transparent role, and to look at the Syrian society in a humanitarian view above all, stressing that they are with Syria united as one block, land and people, and that this needs the international community to be honest with The Syrian people appreciate the sacrifices they made during the past years.
