Two soldiers in the ranks of the Turkish occupation army were killed during the operations of the Guerrilla Forces, as part of the Xabûr resistance against the occupation army.

Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement to the public opinion, concerning the Turkish occupation's attacks on the legitimate defense zones, and the Guerrilla Forces' confrontation to them.

The statement said, "In the context of the Xabûr Resistance Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out an operation in Metina area against the occupation on May 12 at 16:30.

During that time, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers from the Martyr Azad Hill, and the operation resulted in the killing of two Turkish soldiers, in addition to wounding another."

The statement continued: "On May 11, Martyr Dalal's air defense forces carried out an operation in the area of ​​Metina, at 13:15. The operation was carried out against a site of the occupation soldiers on Zendora Hill, and the results were achieved."

'Occupation's attacks'

During the statement, the Media Center indicated that the Turkish occupation bombarded the legitimate defense zones with aircrafts on May 11 at 11:30, as warplanes bombed Wergelê area in Avaşîn, and on May 12, at between 00:00 and 1.30, Turkish helicopters bombed Mervanus Square."

The People's Defense Forces confirmed that the Turkish attacks did not inflict any harm to their fighters.
