An explosion occurred in the northern Idlib, in the city of Ma'arrat Misrin, as a result of an explosive device that exploded in conjunction with the passage of a Turkish Occupation Forces convoy at Ram Hamdan near Ma'arrat Misrin.

In the meantime, gunfire was heard, while ambulances arrived at the site to recover the wounded, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

On May 3rd, unknown gunmen targeted the wall of a Turkish military base in the town of Balyun in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, with an RPG missile, without casualties.
