Kobane people: we will not allow Turkey to occupy our lands

People in a number of villages in western Kobane on the border with Northern Kurdistan stressed they will not allow Turkish Occupation Forces to occupy their lands denouncing silence preserved by the Syrian Government Forces and Russia in reference to the breaches perpetrated against people in the region.

Suspicious movements are under way by the Turkish Occupation Forces on the border with Kobane as 3-4 m long trenches are being dug since April 22nd, in separate places in western Kobane that was met with condemnation by the people living in such border areas in North Eastern Syria. 

Maryam Mohamed from the3 village of Boban Seghir in western Kobane says that the Turkish State will not subject them, vi digging trenches or carrying out attacks, '' we are attached to our lands and will not allow any occupations''.

Maryam noted that time and again Turkey ''tries to foment fear in the heart of people in the region but people are determined to stay in their homes and to trace the way of martyrs''.

In turn Ahmed Bilal says :'' we see that Turkish Occupation State is bringing in convoys and heavy machinery to border areas opposite our villages but we do not know the intentions of such moves, we are steadfast''.

''this land is ours we would keep fighting and stand up to the Turkish encroachments on farmers and people'', he said.

Mohamed Ramadan from the village of Silm on the border with Northern Kurdistan denounced the position undertaken by the Syrian Government and the Russian Federation in reference to the Turkish breaches, '' occupation of our lands does not appease Turkey, rather it targets the region on daily bases with every evil species to frighten people wehther via live ammunition or drones''.
