​​​​​​​Asayiş confirms no violations recorded in Tayy neighborhood

The Internal Security Forces (Asayiş) confirmed that, after expelling the mercenaries of the "National Defense" from the neighborhood of Tayy, that the residents of the neighborhood returned and no case of violations were recorded. They confirmed that they will remove all armed groups from schools that the mercenaries have turned into military headquarters, and work to investigate all the appropriate conditions for children and their access to education.

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria issued a statement about the latest developments in the Tayy neighborhood, which was liberated from the mercenaries of the National Defense, and after the return of its people and the statement reads:

After days of clashes between our forces and the mercenaries of the National Defense in the Tayy neighborhood in Qamishlo city and the expulsion of all the armed men of the National Defense from the neighborhood, our forces called today, Monday 26/4/2012, the people of the neighborhood to return to their homes, and to ensure the safety of their properties.

Where a large number of people entered their homes today, making sure that there are no violations against their properties, and following up on any complaints from the people of our forces that have been stationed in the neighborhood.

Our forces are also working to remove all armed manifestations from the schools that the National Defense mercenaries have turned into military headquarters and points for their members, in a constant attempt by our forces to work to secure all appropriate conditions for children and their access to the right to education, which they were deprived of during the years of control of the mercenaries of the National Defense over the district.

We also affirm, our full commitment to all human rights standards and laws that preserve human dignity and rights."
