Internal Security Forces find weapons, IDs of National Defense mercenaries

The Internal Security Forces, within the framework of search and combing operations in Tay neighborhood, found weapons and identification cards belonging to the mercenaries of the National Defense.

The Internal Security Forces expelled the mercenaries of the National Defense from Tayy neighborhood in the city of Qamishlo after clashes that erupted following the mercenaries' attack on the security forces, last Tuesday, the 20th of this month.

The last clashes erupted after Sunday midnight, and ended with the Internal Security Forces gaining control over the neighborhood and preparing to receive civilians who left their homes after the mercenary attacks and the tension they created.

In the context of the continuous search and combing operations in Tay neighborhood and inside the centers and headquarters where mercenaries’ attacks on the Internal Security Forces and civilians were launched in the city of Qamishlo, a number of Kalashnikov weapons and a quantity of ammunition were found this morning, along with two IDs belonging to the mercenaries of the National Defense.

Meanwhile, Internal Security Forces continue combing operations in the neighborhood.
