Muna Al-Khalaf: Uncertain position of Russian guarantor not serving Syrians

The woman official in the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party, Muna al-Khalaf, slammed the Russia's position on the continuation of Turkish attacks on areas in northern and eastern Syria, and made clear that Russian complicity and uncertain situation do not serve the Syrian people.

Reactions are escalating denouncing Russia's silence regarding the continued Turkish attacks on areas in northern and eastern Syria, because Russian forces in the region under an agreement of a ceasefire and Russia is guarantor."

Al-Khalaf, said that since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, Turkey has played a negative role along all the international and regional powers interfering in the Syrian affairs, have deepened the Syrian crisis.

"Most of these forces are working to achieve their interests therefore all the conflicting forces in the region are concerned only with their interests," Al-Khalaf continued her speech to ANHA agency.

Speaking about Russia, the Arab politician added, "The Russian forces always seek to strengthen their presence in the region; they move according to their whims. There is no role for Russia that is guarantor in the region and Turkish violations are still continuing, especially in Ain Issa, al-Shahba and the villages of Manbij."

She touched on the withdrawal of the Russian forces from their points in al-Shahba and return hours later, and said, "This comes as a pressure card on the Autonomous Administration of the North and East Syria to make concessions."

The Arab politician, on behalf of the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party, condemned the Turkish violations against the peoples of the region, and called on the parties interfering in Syrian affairs to play a positive role in stopping these violations, especially the Russian guarantor.

At the end of her speech, she called on all the Syrian parties to agree on a unified political vision to reach a comprehensive solution that satisfies all parties, in order to reach a democratic society in freedom and justice, and the exit of all conflicting forces from Syria."
