Total curfew came into effect in NE, Syria cities

The Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, on April 11, decided to impose a total curfew and lock down on all cities NE, Syria in order to counter the widespread of the corona virus that came into effect this morning.

Most cities in NE, Syria have been closed, while people have observed near-total adherence to curfew, lack of traffic, wearing masks and maintaining social distance.

In addition, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) have intensified their patrols and have organized barriers inside the city.

The total curfew lasts for 10 days, with the closure of all border crossings of the Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria except for humanitarian situations, patients, students and commercial traffic.

In addition to facilitating the movement of farmers and those who are working with them, it has been excluded from the total curfew (food and vegetable shops) and (all shopkeepers, pharmacies, humanitarian organizations, media and fuel stations).

AANES has also suspended work in all its institutions and services during the period of the curfew, with the exception of those whose work requires continuation.
