PYD's Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem passes away

Member to the Administrative Council of PYD in Hasaka city Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem passed away today morning aged 75 due to a stroke.

Patriotic man Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem was affiliated to the Kurdistan Liberation Movement in 1980s, and received training courses in the Ma'sum Qorqamaz Academy in 1989 meeting leader Ocalan on several occasions.

Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem was arrested by the Syrian Government many times the last of which was in 1993 when the Hasaka Central Prison was set on fire. 

In 2003 Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem joined the Union Democratic Party and was elected as a member to the Administrative Council of the party in the city of Hasaka in the Conference Eighth that was held on April 25th, 2020.

Earlier, in an interview carried by ANHA, Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem laid stress on the necessity in Rojava of the democratic nation project developed by leader Abdullah Ocalan.

On March 25th, Shams Addine Mella Ibraheem was taken to the Hasaka Peoples' Hospital and lost life at dawn today.
