KNK mourns Kurdish icon Ahmed Dilzar

In a cable Kurdistan National Conference, the KNK, paid tribute to the Kurdish  poet and author hmed Dilzar, '' freedom has always been his main obsession until he passed away''.

Committee of Language, Culture and Education in the Kurdistan National Conference offered condolences on the pass away of the Kurdish poet and author Ahmed Dilzar. 

'' On April 10th, 2021, prolific writer, poet and fighter Ahmed Dilzar passed away, aged 101, we offere condolences to his family, the Kurdish people, Kurdistan and we express our deep sorrows on his demise.

Ahmed Dizar was patriotic and home loving, he was a friend and co-author to Dildar that composed Ey Reqibe and the Gold Text and literature of the first half of the 20 century. His works were valuable and priceless that filled a mass vacuum in the Kurdish dictionaries and literature.

He was imbued with the idea of Kurdistan liberation, and used to embrace the hope of freedom, and the Kurdish salvation and that of Kurdistan, even in his last days, the last of his works was a poem composed on March 15th, 2021. We condole with the Kurdish people and his family wishing them all the best''.

Ahmed Dilzar passed away last Saturday in a hospital in Southern Kurdistan aged 101 after illness.

Dubbed as the Internationalist poet was born in Koy Sanjak 1920, he composed in Kurdish and Arabic.
