Our correspondent from Al-Hol camp, 45 km east of Al-Hasakah, stated that the Internal Security Forces arrested drivers of water tanks for transporting drinking water to Al-Hol camp, and 13 mercenaries, including Iraqis, after the drivers attempted to smuggle a group of Iraqi camp residents.

During a close inspection of the vehicles entering the camp, the security forces found 13 mercenaries (8 Iraqis and 5 Syrians, including 4 women), inside two water tanks, which are working to supply the camp with drinking water.

Our correspondent indicated that the security forces in the camp prevented the escape of a group of mercenaries from Al-Hol camp, after receiving information indicating that the Iraqi ISIS families were ready to flee the camp by hiding in water tanks, especially those whose names were mentioned in the ongoing investigations with detainees arrested in the "Humanity and Security Campaign."

Al-Hol camp is considered one of the most dangerous camps in the world, due to the presence of thousands of families of ISIS mercenaries, including women and children, and because of the extremist ISIS ideas that these families carry.

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria ended their first phase of the "Humanity and Security Campaign" in the camp on April 2, after it launched on the 28th of last March, during which it arrested 125 mercenaries of ISIS mercenary cells in the camp.

In our agency's interviews with those who tried to flee, they indicated their intention to go to the city of Girê Sp / Tal Abyad, which is occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, the Syrian National Army.

Our agency previously published documents containing the names of dozens of mercenaries in Tal Abyad and Serekaniye, who were former elements of ISIS and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (Al-Nusra).

Since March 2019, after the defeat of ISIS in its last stronghold in the town of Al-Baghouz, Al-Hol camp has witnessed cases of killing, flogging and burning of tents, not to mention escape attempts, while the Autonomous Administration and camp officials make tremendous efforts to control the camp's security and limit the flight of mercenaries. The most recent of which is the "Humanity and Security Campaign".
