​​​​​​​Coronavirus: 5 deaths, 236 new cases in N, E Syria

​​​​​​​The Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria recorded five deaths from the Corona virus, in addition to 236 new infections.

On Friday, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that five deaths have been recorded of people infected with Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Dr. Joan Mustafa, explained that the deaths are of two men from Qamishlo, a man from Hasakah, a man from Tabqa, and a fifth from al-Shahba.

Mustafa indicated that they had recorded 236 new cases of Covid virus 19 in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which are 132 males and 104 females, and they are distributed as follows:

Al-Hasakah, 57 cases

Qamishlo 99 cases

Derik 11 cases

Ad-Darbasiyah 4 cases

Al-Raqqa: 25 cases

Tabqa 32 cases

Al-Shahba 6 cases

Tal Tamir 2 cases

The Health Authority also recorded three new recoveries.

It is noteworthy that the number of cases of Coronavirus in the regions of North and East Syria reached 11,769 with the announcement of these new cases, including 415 deaths, and 1,354 recoveries.
