​​​​​​​Russian jets carry out raids on Syrian Desert

At least 85 aerial raids were carried out by the Russian fighter jets in the Syrian Desert as Syrian Government helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas held by the ISIS mercenaries in the last hours.

Russian war planes targeted ISIS elements hiding in caves and hideouts in the Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle and the Deir Ezzor, Homs and Raqqa deserts on Tuesday while helicopters of the Syrian Government dropped at least ten barrel bombs on areas held by the ISIS mercenaries in the Syrian Desert in the last few hours, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SHOR.

In four days, at least 295 raids were carried out by the Russian war planes resulted in the killing of at least 29 mercenaries, according to the SOHR.

On Tuesday, a sudden attack was launched by the ISIS mercenaries against Syrian Government forces in Zweina in the Syrian Desert and others in Iqerbat in eastern Hama resulted in deaths and injuries in both sides in clashes erupted.

8 police elements were captured and 11 persons arrested in Sa'in District, as 40 others are still missing, as reinforcements were brought in by the Syrian Forces.
