Şengal residents will foil all agreements plotted against them

Suleiman Jaafar talked about the massacre committed by ISIS against the Yazidi in Şengal province in 2014, by supporting Iraqi Government and KDP, saying" ISIS/ Daesh mercenaries launched barbaric attack, on August 13, 2014."

After an agreement was concluded by the head of Turkish intelligence, Hakan Fidan, the head of the Iraqi Government, and representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which decided to withdraw the 15,000 Peshmerga forces, leaving the people to face ISIS.

Jaafar continued: "The descendants of the Ottomans, the Turks, sought to obliterate the Kurdish identity through this agreement, aiming at destroying of the existing project in Rojava, which is the project Democratic Autonomous Administration."

Adding "A group of the People's Protection Units and Women's Protection's Units YPG, YPJ and People 's Defense Forces HPG intervened, and were able to open a humanitarian corridor for Şengal residents and remove them from ISIS/Daesh grip."

They bandaged their wounds with new hopes

Jaafar said: “After the formation of Şengal Resistance Forces, YJŞ and the Asayish, and their fight against the terrorist organization and liberating their lands from ISIS/Daesh grip, they were able to heal their wounds again and establishing an Autonomous Administration project to rule themselves and protect their religion and culture.”

After announcing of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in 2017, Şengal witnessed great development and prosperity on the cultural, political and economic levels.

Şengal agreements aim to take revenge for Daesh/ISIS

" After defeating ISIS/Daesh and the destruction of the plans and agreements concluded against the people of Şengal, Turkey, the Iraqi Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) sought to conclude new agreements, the last of which was the mobilization of forces on the borders of Şengal and the threat of the people of Şengal from time to time, in retaliation for ISIS/Daesh and the continuation of their plans seeking to obliterate Yazidi community. Jaafar noted that the people of Şengal are rallied around their administration and adhere to their resistance in the face of all agreements and plans, and they will not accept any interference from any party in their area.

At the end of his speech, Jaafar asserted that they, as the people of Afrin and the Yazidis of Afrin: “We are in solidarity with the Şengal resistance in the face of all the agreements being plotted against them.” Turkey has violated the international convention by sentencing Çîçek Kobanê for life.
