Leader Ocalan: access should be given to my lawyers legally

On March 25^th, 2021, and after almost two years of condemnation, leader Abdullah Ocalan in sole confinement since 1999 in grave conditions on the Imrali Island, contacted his brother Mihemed Ocalan that last time contacted his brother on April 27^th, 2020. 

Recently claims were put into circulation on the Turkish social media outlets on the health of leader Ocalan that led to mass popular protests and arose fears.

Thursday's call took place in the Public Prosecutor's office in the Kurdish city of Riha, but the call just lasted for minutes, the same as Hamili Yildirim that was talking to his family too, while the other detainees, Umar Hairi Kunar and Wesy Aktash refused to adopt the procedure condemning the isolation imposed on the Imrali Island Prison.  

On this, Mesopotamia Agency contacted Mihemed Ocalan for five minutes revealing that a person introduced himself as the director of the Imrali Island Prison, contacted him on March 24^th, at seven o'clock that told him '' to be present at the Public Prosecutor's Office in the city of Riha at 1:45, on March 25^th, to contact brother vi the phone''.

Mihemed in the next day was received by the previously notified authorities, that took him to the downstairs in the course of ten minutes after was told by a civil servant in the room to contact brother, adding that leader asked him :''how did you came there? Who allowed you? From where you are calling me? How all this is taking place? '' 

'' you and the state are committing a mistake in doing so, since a year I have no access to anybody, all these breaches run against the code of the state and the whole world, this procedure is grave and danger extremely, the state does not act justly, if a meeting is allowed for me let it be in conformity with the law, this, after a year of isolation is improper as their own personal discretion'', repeating that, and ''this is illegal and of no use, and rejected matter that poses mass danger. Are you knowing what are you doing? I want lawyers come here and meet me, that is legal. I have been here since 22 years, in future how this will be carried out? This case finds no way except in accordance with the law, why you don’t come here? Meetings should go on via lawyers, this is a political as well as a legal matter'', Mihemed Ocalan quoted brother.

Mihemed Ocalan told brother that one of reasons behind his coming to Riha is the hunger strike undertaken in jails in protest against the isolation imposed, to which the leader replied '' I never wanted anybody to go on hunger strike for my sake in jails and sacrifice him/herself for me, I said this in advance, now again I say no need to that, this implies grave dangers''.

Mihemed said that the hardly heard voice was indicating that it was of leader ! but when said this is gravely improper the call was cut, after which Mihemed was told to stay for a while, then another one '' contacted me to stay and not depart'', adding that after 10-15 minutes he told them the phone had never rung, to be told '' the meeting is over''.

Mihemed Ocalan concluded that all these actions and breaches are rejected.
