Yazidi clerics: Attempts to control Mount Sinjar continuation to massacres

"

And continue, saying" “We clerics and religious scholars declare from this holy place that we will not surrender and will not hand over Sinjar Mount, the mountain of extermination to any party, whether to the Iraqi army or anyone else, we will not give up our arms, if Iraqi Government insisted to send army forces to Sinjar Mount, we would repel them with all our strength that we have to protect Sinjar and our people and we demand all the children of the Yazidi component in Iraq and the world to stand before any intervention or attack by the Iraqi army on Sinjar Mount. "

It called on "young men, men and women to bear arms and stand against every attack on Sinjar Mount," saying that "what is being planned in this fierce attack, which is an attack on Sinjar Mount, is a continuation of the extermination of the Yazidis once again."

Indicating that "this plan is a conspiracy by al-Kazemi and his government and in coordination with international and regional bodies to end the presence of the Yazidis, and in the event of the aggression and attack on Sinjar Mount, we will hold al-Kazemi fully responsible before God, society and international forums."

The Yazidi Religious Body in Şengal added, "We clerics on behalf of our people in Sinjar say we will respond with all the strength available to us to these threats, and we will reach our voice to the rational authority, and to international forums, international organizations, the United Nations and all parties of the world, that the Iraqi government and the government of al-Kazemi are trying to control on Sinjar Mount and killing and exterminating the Yazidis again, as Sinjar Mount is the safe haven and home to the Yazidi component that stood as an impregnable shield against ISIS terrorist attack on it, as the people of Sinjar took shelter in this mountain on 3/8/2014, and it is the fortified shield that always protects it. And it concluded by saying: "So we say to the al-Kazemi government, especially al-Kazemi himself, that we will never surrender and will not give up our weapons to defend our honor, land, people, and the blood of our martyrs."
